Halloween Fest!

Halloween at our house was a success this year!  We filled the day with all things Halloween and ended it on sugar highs and with good memories.  Some photos:

Here are our finished acorn pumpkins that we started painting on Friday!
Maggie asked for ghost pancakes for her Halloween breakfast.  I added mini chocolate chips for the eyes.
Getting ready to carve our pumpkins ...
 Working hard ...
 Guts!
Seeds!  It was a group effort -- Maggie removed, I cleaned, and Daddy roasted!
 Our pumpkins!
Roasted seeds!
 Maggie's Halloween wagon ride snack!
For lunch, we had witches' fingers (deli ham and monterey jack cheese baked between two bread sticks)!  They were really good!
Here is Maggie with her 'Aunt Lainey' after she 'mummified' her.
Mags found a better use for her witches' hats ... fancy socks!
Her Plex costume, on the ready!
With dinner, Maggie had her very first cup of hot chocolate (with floating 'eyeballs' of course!) -- she liked it!
Dinner was mummy dogs, macaroni and cheese swamp creatures (wish they had turned out better!), hot chocolate with floating 'eyeballs,' and apple cider.
 Ready to trick-or-treat!
She was so proud of her costume!
Getting treats from her favorite neighbor, 'Mickey' Potts!  :)
 Off to trick-or-treat with Daddy!
Saying 'hi' to our buddy, Vivian!

Posing with Vivian at our house after trick-or-treating!
 Checking out the loot!

Maggie did so good!  It was a great day for all of us!  Happy Halloween, everybody!  :)
