(Part 1 of 2)

Maggie's favorite moment of today was finding the Yo Gabba Gabba Halloween DVD at the library.  Of course, it came home with us, and she's watching it now, which means this post might actually be more coherent than is typical.  Our day is not over, but we decided to take a break, and her suggestion was to pop in the DVD, so I am writing today's activities in two parts.  This is part one, during the intermission that is Yo Gabba Gabba.

Here are some photos of today's projects thus far:

Her 'E' page of her letter book ...
Her leaf lace-up card.  This is her first lace-up activity ever, and she was quite good at it!
She wanted to hang it on her bedroom door.
Making fall trees with the sides of our open hands as the trunks and our fingerprints as the tree's leaves ...
It's fall at the Sapp household!  I had to take this photo of Maggie working on her fall painting, with her 3D fall tree model on the table, the leaf garland that we hung on our light fixture, and the 'stained glass' leaf she made hanging on our back door.
Making a fall leaf snack ...
After preparing her surface, she's rolling out the dough ...
Cutting leaf shapes out of the dough ...
 Peanut butter chips!
 And mini chocolate chips!
All wrapped up in little leaf envelopes ...
 And baked until golden ...
YUM!!!

So, that wraps up the photos for the first half of our day.  After Yo Gabba Gabba is over, we've got quite a few transportation activities planned, which I'll post about later, along with the rundown for the day.  See you soon!
