1. We went to Preschool Adventures (story time and craft) at North Columbus Library, where we read stories about the New Year (This Next New Year by Janet S. Wong and Two of Everything by Lily Toy Hong) and made New Year's celebration tambourines.

7. We read Shel Silverstein's poem, 'Snowball,' in his book, Falling Up, page 11.

I made myself a snowball

8. We went on a nature walk to collect little evergreen sprigs and leafless twigs for a winter craft that included using cotton balls for 'snow' on and under the 'trees' we collected.
9. We listened to the John McCutcheon's Winter Songs CD that we borrowed from the library.

5. We completed the 2 Care Bears worksheets that asked her to draw a line to and circle the objects in the rows that are the same.
